FAS 08 - feria de arte sonoro
August 15 till 17, 2008: come and celebrate with us the first Puerto Rican Sound Art Fair at "La Respuesta", 1600 Ave. Fernández Juncos (corner Calle Del Parque), Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico!
Selected sound artists - contemporary artists who use sound as a principal media in all or some of their art works - exhibit and sell their work or perform live.
The list of exhibiting and performing artists includes Rebecca Adorno, Robin Alicea, Rosamary Berríos Hernández, Luis Rafael Berríos Negrón and Eric Adamsons Bodo, G. Nemyr Canals, Jorge Castro, Claudio Chea, Carola Cintrón Moscoso, Papo Colo, Jorge Rito Cordero, Celso González, Elveen González, Tony González Walker, Ariel Hernández, Karlo Andrei-Ibarra, Charles Juhász-Alvarado, Teo Freytes, Arnaldo Lozada & Mu., Adál Maldonado, Natalia Martínez, Matotumba, Raphael Montañez Ortiz, Jacob Morales Marchosky, Omar Obdulio Peña Forty, Araceli Pino, Marisol Plard, Joel Yoyo Rodríguez, Noemí Segarra, Raven Strain/Matt Billings, Francisco J. In addition, the event will feature educative and interactive elements such as two interdisciplinary panels on Saturday and a guided tour on Sunday where you can also ask the artists questions about their works.
